Crete - the cradle of the world!

Crete is not only the south-most island of Greece; it is the south-most point of Europe. It was in Crete where the first highly developed civilization of the Occident reached its zenith, where man flew high in the sky, where the first labyrinth was constructed.
No other island on the Mediterranean has so many sights and natural treasures as Crete: over 800 Byzantine chapels, some of the most important museums, the largest and most fertile plain in Greece, the biggest gorge in Europe and a nearly endless richness in archeological treasures and ancient places.

The picturesque fisher village of Elounda lies at the beautiful bay
of Mirabelo in the east of the island.

Even our non-diving guests and children will surely find something that will please them. There are taverns, cafes and pubs. Elounda is a cozy small village, which has not lost its color and yet it has a lot to offer. For all of those who prefer the excitement of the nightlife there is Agios Nikolaos only 9 km away for something hot.
